How to throw the Mirage HE grenade “short to con”

   Stand on the throw spot

   Stand where the video shows. The fastest way is a console command on a server with sv_cheats 1:

   setpos -1013.40 285.23 -166.07; setang -10.54 -66.6 0Copy

   On the CYBERSPORT.KG pracc server — type in chat, no sv_cheats needed:

   The spot and aim were recorded at the moment the author lined up the throw.

   Line up your crosshair

   Put your crosshair on the same reference point as in the clip at the moment of the throw — switch to 0.25× and step through it frame by frame. View angles: pitch -10.54°, yaw -66.60°.

   Throw

   Hold W 0.25 s before the throw and keep holding until release.

   Throw

   Hold walk (Shift) 2.53 s before the throw and keep holding until release.

   Throw

   Release LMB while moving.

   Result

   The nade flies 1.62 s. HE damage radius is about 350 units (≈ 9 m); walls absorb the damage.
